The Philippine Academy of Medical Specialists, Sultan Kudarat Chapter was organized and chartered last November 8, 2008 at Beldent Star Hotel in Tacurong City. PAMS national officers graced the occasion, headed by Dr. Mike Ocampo, Dean Chancellor and Chartering Officer, Dr. Dennis Lagunay, Chairman Chartering Committee, Dr. Edna Lagunay, Chancellor Obstetrics and Gynecology and Honorable Rodrigo “Bogs” Jamorabon, City Councilor and Chairman in Health witnessed the program. Dr. Mike Ocampo installed the newly elected chartered officers and members. The activity was followed by a business meeting combined with the local chapter and national directorate on organizational concern.Being the 41st chapter in the country, PAMS-SK has 26 active members at present. Freeclinics of the different specialties will be conducted and other activities are at stake for 2009.
