CANDIDATES FOR BOARD OF TRUSTEE ELECTION

We would like to announce the candidates for Five (5) vacancies available at Board of Trustee for the year 2012.

Election will be on November 26, 2011, Saturday (1st day of Convention) at the designated PAMS COMELEC Area, Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila.

ELECTION OF PAMS BOARD AS APPROVED BY THE BOT

COMPOSITION: 15 Board Members

 5 Members – Appointed Representative from Council of Advisers

 10 Members – Elected by the General Assembly

MANNER OF APPOINTMENT FOR COUNCIL OF ADVISERS REPRESENTATIVE:

- The council of advisers will appoint among themselves 5 members to sit as board of trustees with 2 years term of office, to be presented before the members of the general convention for CONFIRMATION via majority vote.

MANNER OF ELECTION FOR THE 10 ELECTED MEMBERS OF THE BOARD:

1) Announcement of Election

- The Comelec will announce the Election 3 months prior to the General Assembly

- The Announcement will include the Date of Election, Manner of Election, Manner of Nomination, Qualification of candidates and Deadline of nomination.

- There will be no limit on the number of nominees

- Qualifications of Nominee:

• Must be a fellow of PAMS, in good standing
• Must have no over due account from PAMS
• Must have good moral and ethical conduct as certified by the president of the local chapter where he/she belongs
• Must be a competent Medical Specialist as certified by one of its peers of same specialty in PAMS
• Must have no pending complaint in the Ethics Committee of PAMS
• Must have no pending nor sentenced criminal case in any court of law
• Must submit fully filled up and signed nomination form

- Filing  Fee of Php 1,000.00
